We’re delighted to announce that we have a new face in the office!
Karen Barningham has joined us as our new accounts and general administrator, and has quickly settled into the Riverside team.
With more than twenty years’ experience in similar roles and a real passion for accountancy, she comes armed with a wealth of Sage knowledge and found our job description completely mirrored her strengths and enjoyments. We’re sure that her eye for detail, friendly personality and drive to get things right will make her a great fit for both the position and our team.
The flexible hours and focus on providing excellent customer service attracted Karen to the position, and working part-time means that she can continue providing administrative and accounting support for her husband, who works as a farmer.
Inspired by the nature of working for a local, growing company, Karen is also passionate about recycling and excited to work in an industry that is so important for future generations.
So far, she has jumped straight into the role and is getting on well with all the team.
Karen says: “I would have liked work alongside Debbie, so am sad to see her go. She leaves behind a 20-year legacy so she’ll be difficult to replace!”
Debbie will undoubtedly be missed by the whole team, but we can’t think of a better person than Karen to take on the reins. (No pressure!)
