Product Overview
RWM 60 Heavy Duty Waste Baler
They say great things come in small packages – and the RWM 60HD is proof of that. This compact heavy duty baler delivers an impressive pressing force of up to 13 tonnes, making it the ideal solution for handling tougher recyclables such as aluminium drinks cans, paint tins, and plastic bottles, as well as more straightforward materials like cardboard and paper. Despite its small footprint, the RWM 60HD is capable of producing dense bales of up to 25kg – that’s around 1,500 drinks cans – offering a highly efficient and space-saving solution for compact waste handling.

Key Features
The RWM 60HD is top-loaded to prevent material from spilling during loading, enhancing both safety and efficiency. It includes a multi-strapping system that securely holds slippery or difficult materials in place, ensuring a stable and compact bale every time. With a fully-automated bale ejection mechanism, the machine is simple to operate and reduces manual intervention. Designed for versatility, it handles everything from steel and aluminium cans to PET bottles and heavy-duty cardboard, making it a truly flexible solution.
"Riverside carried out a simple waste audit, before sending an easy-to-digest proposal with varied procurement options. The monetary savings alone made this decision a no brainer, but aiding the more effective recycling of our cardboard materials eases our environmental conscience too. We’ll also now spend less time keeping our yard clean and tidy, which makes for more productive on-site operations all round."

Aftersales care
A number of organisations – especially those making the first step to improve their waste handling capabilities – are a little apprehensive about what happens after their investment in a waste baler. What if their plant manager gets a new job and there’s a knowledge gap? What if they make a mistake and a small repair is needed? These worries are perhaps natural, but there’s really nothing to panic about.
Firstly, our waste balers are incredibly easy to use, but secondly, our baling engineers will be with you every step of the way, long after the initial procurement. Providing training, service and maintenance expertise, spare parts or simply a waste handling review, we’ll help you maximise the return from your investment, for years to come.
