Riverside is looking for a field service engineer to add to our growing team. A primarily field-based nationwide role, the permanent full-time position will require on-site attendance at our Harrogate HQ, dependant on the needs of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Installation and commissioning of balers and compactors, plus repairs (including diagnosis of
faults), service and maintenance – both on-site and remotely
* Reading and interpreting engineer drawings and preparing service reports
* Working on hydraulics and electrical circuits, plus slinging and lifting machinery
* Customer liaison and working with internal departments/providing staff training as required.
The candidate must be:
* Experienced in working on balers and compactors
* Experienced in general electrics and hydraulics, as well as welding
* In possession of a full, clean UK driving licence.
The ideal applicant would also possess:
* A fork lift truck licence, although training can be provided
* Excellent communication skills, plus an ability to use their own initiative and work autonomously or as part of a team.
