Yorkshire-based baler provider Riverside Waste Machinery has relocated to new premises, as the company prepares for further growth.
The business – which had been based at its previous headquarters in Boroughbridge since its establishment in 1997 – has outgrown the space it shared with shredding provider UNTHA UK, on the back of team expansion and future plans for the organisation.
Managing Director Jonathan Oldfield therefore sought a bigger space to accommodate the needs of Riverside, and opted for a larger warehouse coupled with 1,300sq.ft office space, within a few miles of their previous location.
“The move was a logical next step for us,” commented Jonathan. “As well as providing us with more workspace, the setting is idyllic – surrounded by countryside – and is still easily accessible for customers and deliveries due to its close proximity to the motorway.”
Keen to ensure the business remains up to speed with current technology, Riverside has invested in new cloud-based phone and internet systems at the new premises.
The larger warehouse space will enable storage of higher levels of stock – including the growing range of consumables, which has only recently become available to purchase through Riverside’s secure online shop.
Jonathan added: “The staff are all pleased with our new ‘home’ – which is certainly more aesthetically pleasing and a refreshing change for us all. And now we’re settled in – it’s pretty much business as usual!”
